The HikeTracker app does not share any personal information at any time. All information is under the direct control of the user

• Location information is used only to create a GPX track (as directed by the user)
• Motion (specifically: Pedometer) information is used
  • to detect whether the user is walking or standing still
  • to display the user's step count
• The above information is displayed on the screen and some is saved in a GPX file which can only be accessed by and/or intentionally shared by the user
